Experiments in Graphic Art

3Individual artists, illustrators, graphic designers, typesetters and hand lettering artists have been asked to collaborate on The Malayalam Project platform.

They have been given a particular brief that follows the concept of the main Biennale Exhibit.
: Each artist can have a personal rendition of that letter / word / phrase that has been described in their unique brief.
:Medium of artwork is not a constraint. Any software can be used.

: 3-dimensional objects may have to be photographed for the online exhibit.
: Parallely, an online exhibit will also run that creates a visual space for each contributing artist.
: The Malayalam Project will also travel to multiple venues across the year.
: Submitted artworks will not be returned – they will become property of the exhibit and will be published wherever the exhibit is featured (physical space and online platform).
